  Tamarind Paste/Concentrate: :

Tamarind concentrate, also called tamarind paste, is a pure concentrate of tamarind. Tamarind is the pod of a tree mostly cultivated in India. Because of the tamarind's many uses, cultivation has spread around the world in tropical and subtropical zones.

Well matured Tamarind pods are peeled, washed, soaked, deseeding, refined pulpy juice is subjected to processing thru evaporators to get the right concentration. Further it will be packed either in the jerry cans and filled in 50-55 kgs in HDPE drums

Although tamarind contains natural sugar, it also contains 12% tartaric acid, which makes it extremely tart. It is a souring agent commonly used in Indian curries and chutneys, and is also popular in Thai, Mexican and Mediterranean cooking. it is used frequently in fruit drinks. Tamarind makes a great secret barbeque sauce and marinade ingredient.



Tamarind is used extensively in ingredients for the cuisines and metal polishes. Tamarind concentrate is also used as a pickling agent, syrups, as a preservative, for making jams, for medicinal purpose, for sausages and tamarind pastes.
